<p>Two summers ago I took the UCR placement test and was placed in Math 5 (pre-cal) for a summer class which I completed. Will I still need to take the UCLA placement test or will I automatically be able to enroll in Math 3A since it's logically the next class after pre-cal?</p>

<p>Yes, when I recently got a call from UCLA staff they told me if I got a 5 on the AP Calculus AB test, I would be able to skip the placement exam.</p>
