Math Placement Test

Just two questions. Is it mostly based on Pre-Calculus?
Hard or easy?

when i took it it had alot of trig, stuff dealing with circles or triangles, angles, algebra

nothing too hard

i just came back from session 101 yesterday. You take the Math Diagnostic Test (MDT) on the first day of orienation at 3:30 p.m. It is fairly easy; I passed. You have to get 36/60 questions right-60%. It is mostly algebra and trigonometry. Easy stuff. I answered about 45 and I was 90% sure that atleast 40 were absolutley right. I had a lot of time remaining, but had to take a **** really badly. So I just guessed randomly on the last 15. It was cake for me. I just skipped the ones I wasn’t sure about and came back to them at the end. Hope this helps :)

@Baller21, did you pass the test?

i wonder if i have to take the math placement test again since i had to take it for the freshman summer program…i hope it covers it for the fall too :/

do we still have to take the math placement if i got a 5 on BC?

So i found out that you’re exempt from taking it if you got a 5 on Calc AB and 4 or 5 on Calc BC. Because the highest that test will place you in is 31A & 3A.

@ Shirlieswirlie…when you say “that test” do you mean the math placement or the BC test?

Should be the placement test.
