<p>What are these tests like and how hard are they?</p>
<p>You only have to take a math placement exam if you’re going to take a Calculus or higher level class.</p>
<p>I don’t know if what Chicago said is true but if you have at least a 4 on the Calc AB exam then you don’t need to take the placement test.</p>

<p>Thanks for the answers, guys. I took the placement tests and got the scores I needed to get.</p>
<p>Now I am wondering about the Spanish Placement Tests. I took two years of Spanish in High School and fear I will not do well on the test because I didn;t do well in HS Spanish. Will a low test score simply mean I will have to take a lower level Spanish course?</p>
<p>How long are the placement exams? Math and language?</p>
<p>The Math Placement Exam is 20 multiple choice questions, one hour long. I don’t know about the language exam.</p>
