<p>This one is best done with your calculator in “radicals” mode. I use a Casio FX300ES for all SAT stuff.</p>

<p>If you remember your exponent rules, you quickly get a^3 b² = 432. (If you don’t understand that, you need to review.) Now, take the square root of each side. You get:
