math problem

okay one more question.
on Dec SAT, for one of the math grid-ins,
there was this one question about finding the side length of the box.

those boxes were making stair-kinda-looking shape, like

[]
[][]
[][][]
[][][][]

this. (im not sure if it was this shape :/)

do you guys remember what you got for this?
some people said they got 2 and some said they got something like 5/8.
i got the second one.. i think. haha ionno
what did you guys get?

OH and for another grid-in question, did you ever get 0?
i thought that was weird but.. yea.
thanks guys

I got 1.6 I think. An area of 10 and a perimeter of 16. I think it was something with these two numbers, not sure exactly what was asked. 16X = 10X^2 and solve for X. I think thats what I did.

i got 8/5, which is the same thing as 1.6

1.6 character
