math problem

do you guys recall the question about three coins with different values 10 7 and 1 ? it appeared in the last math section
what did u get for the answer
did u have to use all three in every combination?

6 combinations, and you didn't have to use all three. Ex. you can have 17 pennies.

(Parentheses indicate the value of the coins.)

17(1)
12(1) + 1(5)
7(1) + 2(5)
2(1) + 3(5)
7(1) + 1 (10)
2(1) + 1(5) + 1(10)

6 is correct
