Math Question

14.For how many ordered pairs of positive integers(x,y) is 2x+3y<6?

I chose 3 since i got (0,0), (0,1) and (1,1). But the correct answer is 1.... Is it because any solution containing 0 is incorrect since 0 is neither positive nor negative?

0 is not a positive integer.

Consider the ordered pair (1,1)

2 + 3 = 5 < 6

The other ordered pairs (1,2), (2,1) have a result greater than 6. There is only one ordered pair that fits the condition.

AHHH that makes sense then… i included all solutions with 0s… dam it. okay thanks!

dam or damn just saying :)
