Math Question

If I want to take Math 53, but I'm still waiting for my Calculus BC scores, should I sign up for the class even though I'm not sure if I got a 5 at CalSo? or should I just wait it up? Is there another day where I could sign up for classes by any chance other than at CalSo?

i think it depends on your major???? most people start at math 1b even if they got a 5 on the BC exam? But once again it depends on your major.

wait on it... chances are that there'll be room in the math classes later on...

Yes... At CalSo you sign up for your first 10.5 units (or something like that). You sign up for the rest of your classes at a later specified time.

i'm assuming by your question that you have calso coming up?

in any case, it doesn't really matter too much becuase any classes you sign up at calso can be changed online afterwards.

yes, even when you go back home and use your own computer...as long as it's during "open hours" whenever those specific times are i'm not sure, but they're pretty expansive.

on that note, you can always change the math 53 after you receive the ap scores in july (btw, they will be up and posted online in myberkeleyapp under AP scores even BEFORE you receive them in the mail).

Math 53 filled up very quickly Spring '06. The waitlist started growing from phase 1.
