math question

i solved this problem, but im not sure if i approach is correct.</p>

<p>For how many ordered pairs of positive integers (x,y) is 2x+3y<6</p>

<p>what i did was
3y<6-2x
y<2-2/3x (div by 3)
and plugging in numbers..
x=0 , true
x=1, not true
x=2, not true</p>

<p>hmm im lil confused~</p>

<p>my bad, confused concepts. problem solved.</p>
