Math question

Don't know where this goes...
Need help with precalc geometric sequences

A woman opens a CD. 5% interest at end of every year. She then deposits 10% after the 5% interest. 1st year stores $5000. So at the end of the 1st year (n=1) she earns $250 of interest, so 5250 after interest. Then she deposits 10% of that, so she deposits $525. When n=1, total=5775.

After 10 years, she has deposited $22124.67. How do I figure out how much of this was INTEREST? Since part of the ratio (1.15) is interest, and the other part is deposit..
