Math Refresher Courses or Fun Science Classes?

I haven't taken math since AP Stats my senior year of high school. I'm entering my 3rd year at Cal and would like to refresh on math.
I was looking into the pre-calculus course (Math 32) but I'm not sure if I would get credit for it since I already took Calculus 1 at a JC the summer after my junior year of high school (which seems like ages ago and I don't remember much of the material).

Also, are there any interesting science courses (preferably some kind of life science) at Berkeley that won't destroy my grades (considering that I haven't taken a REAL hard science since AP Physics junior year of hs)?
None of this is required for my major (poli sci). I have extra space this semester to experiment with various departments and I realized that I haven't taken any math or science courses in a long time. After semesters of critical reading and writing, I guess I just miss math and science.
