Hey guys, I just got my math SAT II scores this morning and I was a bit disappointed to see I got a 690 on the math 1 test. I'm applying to ILR and have good scores in other subject areas (790 world, 770 bio and US, 750 Lit) and 800 CR 700 M and 760 WR on the SATs. My weakest subject has always been math and I only took the SAT II's for em for ILR. Should I take the ACT this weekend to hopefully get a better math score? I'm signed up but I don't really wanna take any more tests but I will if the 690 isn't good enough. Any thoughts? I don't know what score range Cornell ILR wants on the SAT II and I'm hoping my other scores make up for it. Thanks in advance!

My D got into CHE with a 590 SAT II math score.

Especially in light of your other scores, I would say you can stop with the standardized testing. Yes, higher will always be better, but nothing is alarmingly low, or even low for that matter. Is 690 going to get you in? No. But it certainly won’t keep you out.

Okay cool thanks. I was just concerned because the one subject test actually required for the school I’m applying to is sub 700.

SAT 2’s are considered as validation for your high school marks. If you get 600 in Math 2 and get 97% in your HS Math class, then the Adcoms might think that your grades are inflated.

what is i got a c in trig and a b in calculus but i got an 800 on math 2 and 33 on act math
