MAth SAT IIC--is the MEylani book good?

so im gonna take the IIC and was wondering which review book mirrored the actual test the best. ( i dont' like ones that are like way harder cuz they freak me out lol) i heard the Meylani book was good, but not sure. let me know. thanks

Yeah, the Meylani book is really good...I just used sparknotes 5 practice math iic exams (bought it at barnes and nobles for 7 bucks on clearance :) ) and I pulled a 790. My friends who took math iic used Meylani's and got 800s so whatever floats your boat.

oo ok cool cuz i already have the meylani one so maybe i'll go buy the sparknotes one too! thanks

All books are alright -- I think it's really what you put into a book that makes THE difference.

That being said, my precalc notes proved sufficient for the test, and I'm glad to have not known this place at that time, otherwise I would have freaked out, heh.

GL. :)

i have another question: if im finishing precalc this semester (this january) and starting AP CAlc BC in the 2nd semester, should i take the SAT math IIC on the Jan 28th test date? is it too late to wait until June? MAy 6th could also be a possibility, but im also taking US and Bio Sat IIs then, os im not sure if 3 SAT IIs on one day is a good idea...

search the forums, this topic has been discussed before...sigh.

I would take it immediately after you finish Pre-Calc.

yeah...the exam has a nasty way of testing many of the pointless things that you would only know coming fresh out of Pre-Calc, so definitely take it right after you finish that course

ok thanks =) i can do that as long as my scores for the Dec. SAT I were good and i dont have to retake it in January.
