Math SATIIs

Do colleges look at the Math SATII's as separate tests? I am applying to several schools that require 3 SAT subject tests, but I have only taken Math I, Math II, and Chemistry. Do I need to take another?

The easiest way to find out is call the schools in question and ask. However, if you don't want to do that, I would advise taking another SAT II. I don't think Math I and Math II are looked at "separately."

Generally speaking, colleges and universities are looking for SAT II tests in different subject areas; therefore the Math I and II are not considered 2 different tests (you would be required to take a third in a different subject area). Of course, check with the schools you are applying to each has its own set of requirements.

There are now only three colleges that require 3 SAT IIs--Harvard, Princeton and Georgetown. All others that require IIs require only two (the exception for more at some is for applicants who were home schooled). All colleges that require IIs require them to be in different subjects. Thus, having math I and math II would count as only one because it is the same subject.
