I’ve decided to become a math major. None of my core/college requirements have changed, just my major specific classes. In order to graduate on time I would have to take 3 major level math classes a semester. But I would only need to take 1 other class per semester. Either an education or some other elective class (generally easy classes). I understand it’s hard to say without knowing the specific classes, but is 3 math classes a semester doable? I definitley consider myself strong in math. Any help is appreciated!
Math courses are not inherently high workload, since they tend not to have time hogs like labs.
But if you have not had proof heavy math courses (most upper level math courses) yet, be aware that some students find them more difficult and have to spend a lot of time on them for that reason.
