Are we thinking -0 = 800, -1 = 790?

Can anyone explain to me why the answer to the uphill/downhill question was 4/7? I don’t remember what I gridded (:S) but I think it was 3/7. Did I confused which dist. was uphill and which was downhill? ARGH.

Also I second/third the posters asking: which were the ques whose answers were 21 and 3rad2?

I’m looking at 3-4 wrong in Maths. How many can you afford wrong to stay in the 700s?

This is horrible, when I came out I thought maths was my best section. I mean, my class exams I got 91%, with the next highest in class being 63%. Just goes to show that overconfidence is a *****.

I’m thinking -1 = 780. This was rather an easy test.

I don’t know. It was incredibly (and incredulously) easy, but I’ve noticed countless pitfalls that caught many people unguarded. I’m thinking -1= 790.

I am certain uphill downhill was 6/7. I even plugged in values to double check and every time I got 6/7.

does anyone remember the exact numbers for the uphill downhill Q?
i just remember uphill was 3/5 of the time and downhill was 2/5

Uphill was 2 mph and downhill was 4 mph IIRC.

was the line (-4,-3) experimental. I dont think i got it.

I got one that showed a line translated 3 units down. I put y=x+1. Is that right?

yes, right, i guess…

for the up hill and down hill one, uphill time is (3/5)t downhill time is (2/5)t , t being the overall time, the rate for uphill was 2 and for down hill 4, so the fraction of the downhill distance over the overall distance is simply: (2/5)t4/((3/5)t2+(2/5)t4) when simplifying you get 4/7, note that ratetime gives you distance.

The question with three equilateral triangles formed by three line segments asking for an angle measurement tripped me up. Anyone have an answer?

Was the really obvious one like t= 4?

It was like “What is the distance from point t to line L if point S to point L is 4?” It was a rectangle? #8 on the multiple choice sect.

can anyone remember what prompts for the the 10 choices for food question or the shirt question were?
