I am not an american and It has been about 3 years since i toke my Math finals (though i scored very high 96 out of 100) and i can't remember anything. i have about 4 SAT preparation books at home: the official guide, barrons, priceton review and Mcgraw-hill's.

which one will you say has the best math section for someone who hasen't taken any math classes in three years and is also not familiar with the way the questions are written on the SAT?

i did one math section and i didn’t do too well, didn’t really scored it. i didn’t do any more sections cause i saw i was having a hard time understanding which formula to use and in general how to solve questions.

You should try, just to give yourself an idea. :] The Life of Fred books are good to revise with in an american format. Look them up. They make it pretty entertaining no matter how old you are. ;D After that, practice tests are something that everyone recommends. People seem to get their own strategies with critical reading. Some don’t read the passages, some do, etc. With the multiple choice sections on the whole test there’s normally two blatantly wrong answers, then two that are more likely so if you’re forced to guess, it’ll help narrow it down. Good luck (:
