i find that i ALWAYS run out of time on math especially (i did on science too -- didn't even look at the last two passages... i'd rather not think about that section) but i am a math person, it is my best class and i just find that it comes to me easier. but, on standardized testing (i.e. SAT and ACT) i ALWAYS run out of time and don't get to think about 5-7+ questions even though i really do know how to do them, it just takes me an extra minute-two minutes for every question than it seems to take most of you so i do not get to think about a few of the questions and am forced to guess (which means I get a lower score that is NOT indicative of my abilities!)... any thoughts/any one can give me some advice?

You just need to learn to work faster. Being good at math is not always the same as solving problems in a minute on average.

Just practice SAT and ACT math a lot, trying to focus on timing a lot.

And don't try to check them as you go. Go through them first and answer everything then go back to check cause especially if you're good at math your first geuss will usually be the right one. I don't know if thats part of the reason that it might take you long but that was usually why I used to always be racing the clock since I'd try to recheck every problem as I went but I found out it works better if I go through it then go back to check if I have time.

Finish the first 30 problems in 20 mins and the next 30 in 40 mins
