I'm interested mainly in the social sciences and have had some trouble in math - though still earning A's (lots of studying). Anyhow, I've technically had 5 years of high school math because I'm taking two math classes this year: AP stats and pre-calc/trig honors. I've ended up really liking statistics. Anyhow, I'm not sure how AP calc would go for me next year as I have other APs that I want to take and don't want to have another giant workload and am not sure I would do that well anyways. My father suggests dropping math or at least doing a regular course; however, I want to apply to top schools and think this would look bad when applying, but I also don't know if I want to dedicate so much time this coming year to math. I could do business calc, regular calc, or AP calc. Any suggestions?

do calc bc over summer. do linear alg next year instead.

is this even possible? if so, it’s gonna be really fast-paced!
