Hi so I am fairly good at math i get high B’s or low A’s at honors Math classes. Senior year do you think itd be smart for me to take Calc 1 and 2 at my community college as opposed to AP calc AB since I’d be covering a full year of Calculus.
Do you intend to major in STEM? To be premed?
First rule of thumb: ask your current teacher whether you could handle the pace of Calc1 at a community college. It’s Calc AB, but instead of having 5 periods a week for 10 months, you have 3 periods a week for 4 months, covering the same amount of material. So, it’s intense. But it’s also a great preparation for the rigors of college.
