Math-Seriously need help. Going from 540 to a 650+

Well, I haven't been faring well on SAT or PSAT math, with scores of 540 and 550, respectively. I have Grubers, and I did the math sections of the Blue Book's practice test, and ended up in the range of 500-560. I just don't know how to go about studying for it. There seems to be a lot of material to cover, and I don't know where to start. Does anyone have any tips as to what I can do to bring up my math score to a 650+? Critical Reading is getting better for me, and for Writing, I just have to minimize a few errors and then I'll be in the mid 600s, but math is a real killer...

There is only one way to do well in math. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, AND PRACTICE! Also, pay attention in math class. My math score went from 60 on the PSAT to 740 on the actually SAT math from freshman to sophomore year just by paying close attention in math class!

Honestly there's not that much material to cover in SAT math. As long as you've taken like algebra 1 and/or geometry, you should be fine....

The concepts are so basic that all you really need to do is practice. Grubers and Rocket Review can really only provide you with certain strategies like plugging in and stuff, but the best prep I think is to just practice a lot with REAL SAT math section.

I used to do pretty poorly on the math part of the SAT myself until I oriented myself with the format of the SAT. Practicing with math sections, I developed my own methods of solving certain problems. Oh and if you used/read PR, please pay no attention to that Joe Bloggs crap for guessing. You should never have to guess on SAT math...

Thanks for your help, guys.

I'm aware of the fact that the SAT math questions are ridiculously tough. I've taken Algebra I and Integrated Geometry, and I am taking Algebra II and Trigonometry this year. C

However, I feel as if there are just concepts that I am not able to just "solve and check" and such on the test, usually leaving me to guess incorrectly or just omit one question altogether. I am practicing, but I guess I still have stuff to learn....

SAT math is mad easy. Practice a lot. You'll do well. You're my boy man, don't let me down.

Don't worry dude, I'm not gonna give up. I just need to really sit my ass down and practice math SAT questions. I finally sort of have my act together.

Oh, and btw, I just did the CR sections of CB practice SAT from the BB, and got a range of 600-680. On my 1st SAT, I only got a 560. Improvement kicks ass.
