I’m used to solving physics problems with a calculator, and even though I find the numbers on the SAT physics test to be nicer, I still have some obvious problems with mental math when there are a lot of digits. I either spend too much time or try to approximate it then get it wrong.
Any tips for strengthening mental math needed for this physics test?
Memorize Building Blocks - Make sure you know the tables, I know this sounds very funny, but when confronted with a 1/4 or 1/2 we can easily relate to .25 and .5, but can you do the same for 2/5, 3/5, 4/5 etc ?
@jackTT Yes those are fine, but I have troubles with calculations involving 3+ digits. It takes me too much time and my accuracy in approximated calculation isn’t that good.
