<p>I'm trying to help my boyfriend prep for his third and final attempt at the ACT. He took it as a sophomore last June and got a 25, and took the required state testing as a junior last month and got a 26. His goal is a 28, and I think if his English scores go up a few points, he'll get there. </p>
<p>The problem is that he's a math and science oriented student, so he doesn't have the reading background I think would be beneficial. I know I only scored a 35 in that section because I've been reading since I was 2, so I'm struggling on how to help him prep.</p>
<p>Anyone out there in CC land that might have some advice?</p>
