Math Subject Test Calculator

My calculator (ti-84 plus) has a program for solving quadratic equations, it is slightly faster than graphing and finding the zeros. Is that allowed on the math lvl 2? Are programs in general allowed?

I'm also wondering if it is ok for the SAT (non-subject-test / mathematical reasoning) though I probably won't need it there.

If it isn’t allowed, no one will know, so it doesn’t really matter. I think programs are allowed though. Would you mind sharing the name of the program?

I don’t really know if there is an actual name for it. The site I got it from just calls it quadratic formula (because that is basically what it does)

I got it from here
http://math.arizona.edu/~krawczyk/Calculator/TI83PLUS/TI83PQF.html

And entered it in myself, because my connectivity cable is hidden somewhere deep in my closet.

Well, your calculator memory will not be cleared before or after the test. Therefore, you can use whatever is stored in your calculator memory.

Do whatever. I don’t know if it’s not allowed, but 99% of proctors won’t notice unless you’re playing Block dude or something.
