One of my summer class teachers asked me if I knew anyone who could tutor math for (I guess) one of her daughters, specifically precalculus. Is there anyone (current student) who could tutor precalculus I suppose in the fall?

Is her daughter at Cornell? If yes then there are lots of tutoring services at Cornell.

"...specifically precalculus."

Precalculus at Cornell is only offered in summer (see http://www.math.cornell.edu/Courses/FSM/precalculus.html), so I would assume the daughter isn't a Cornell student, since she would like to be tutored in the fall.

no no i think that the girl is like in high school. her mom (this woman) is a professor at cornell.

er I could.. and basically any other engineering or science student

This professor was probably asking you for a referral because she trusts you and wanted you to recommend someone you actually know!

^ agreed. You should definitely know the person or at least give a mini-interview...or turn her to the engineering/science/math schools/majors.

i actually think that i have found someone
