<p>This was brought up earlier...</p>

<p>If the average GPA of accepted applicants is 3.5, what does that say for an individual who has a 3.5? From that info, can you determine a percentage chance for the individual applicant? </p>

<p>Perhaps it requires an average GPA of applicants and average GPA of accepted applicants. </p>

<p>So for instance:
3.3 mean GPA of applicants.
3.5 mean GPA of admitted applicants--3.25 25th percentile, 3.75 75th percentile</p>

<p>An applicant has a 3.5. Ignoring all other factors, what is his/her percentage chance of admission?</p>
