Math?

What are some top math schools in the United States, preferably with strong departments in philosophy and foreign language?

I am most interested in a school that offers not only great contact with professors, but also research opportunities and a variety of difficult and challenging math courses.

Have you looked at the University of Chicago? It has a great math program, and you get contact with professors, research opportunities, and very challenging math courses. I don't know much about their philosophy and foreign language departments though.

UChicago is very good. I would look into Berkeley very strongly -- our math department is very elite, given its graduate school's caliber + the faculty. Also check out Harvard and Princeton. I am pretty sure Berkeley's philosophy department is very good actually. For stuff like logic, just generally it's unparalleled I think.

But I'll bet Berkeley will just be good at almost anything. Harder to get in if you're OOS though.
