<p>You need an 800 to be in the top 10%. (Last year, an 800 was 90th percentile.)</p>
<p>A 760 won't be helpful to your application, but it certainly won't hurt it. The admissions officers will just see it as a neutral point, and move on to your other, more outstanding achievements (<<--- jesus, I sound like my counselor, but you know what I mean).</p>
