Maths 2 retake?

I got a 690 on Math 1, 680 (660 second time round) on the Math 2

I have a 35 on ACT math

I'm not going into engineering or math.

i don't know why i have done consistently badly on the test when i got 800s at home on Math 2. Should I retake or just give up? i'm aiming for ivies so i get that this is quite a bad score for me and i don't have any other good subject test scores (other than a mediocre 700 on world history but i didn't study for it so meh)

i'm retaking Spanish in January so i might retake Math then

retake it! maybe you need to work on your testing skills :stuck_out_tongue: are you distracted during testing? that could be bringing your score down actually. Just try again because if you got a 35 on your act you certainly have it in you to get an 800 on the subject test

@vamigupta‌ i think i have bubbling issues! they never quite rub out :|

You’ve got the skill to do better on the tests because you got a 35 in the ACT. Therefore, I would absolutely retake the exams. However, don’t take level one again. It’s pointless. The only case in which you should take it again is if the school you are applying to requires you to send all scores. Also, check the scores you need to be a competitive applicant in the schools you want. Even though an 800 is great, a 680 might make it.
