Maths II scientific calculator

Is it possible to do the maths IIC with only a scientific calc, because in the UK you can only use those and it's specifically says on our Statistics papers no Texas T83 89 blah di blah, so using a graphing looks very complicated so I was wondering if it was possible to go through it with only scientific. If not which calc, would you recommend?

that's what i am planning to do. i don't have a graphing calculator and i find them very complicated. i'll use a scientific calc. during the test.

Albeit I managed to get a graphing calculator still I'm planning to use a scientific one on the test. The graphing one seems confusing and I have to revise biology during the coming week so can't really spend time trying to master my friend's calc.

is there any on CC that has tried either SAT II maths with a scientific calc? does not have to be like for real, has anyone just tried it with a scientific calc? if so how was it?
Im really worried caus everyone is like how important it is to get a graphing calculator so, yh
thanks any help is appreciated

I also live in Israel and wer'e only allowed to use scientific calculator. Iv'e once asked the question you asked and many people told me it is ABSOLUTELY possible to succeed on the test with a scientific calculator.
Hope that helped.

a friend of mine easily got 800 by just using a scientific calc.
Graphing calc is NOT necessary for math II. It just helps you save time in some of the questions.

thanks, ill try a practice paper with only scientific and tell you how I got on

Does anybody know if we can bring both a scientific and graphing calculator and use them on the test?
Has anybody done this?
I'm more comfortable with my scientific one with the more simpler calculations.

according to the rules, you can bring both but can only have one on your desk. if you want to change you calculator, for battery reasons or malfuncction, you can but you must alert the procter. it will probably just end up wasting time so its not worth it to switch in the middle.
