Maths IIC, Physics, and...? Am I allowed to do the Math IC as well??

I'm applying to Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, MIT, Duke, Berkeley, Cornell and Northwestern, and was wondering whether they would accept Math IIc and Math IC as two subject tests out of the required three, or would I have to sit Literature or French or whatever else I choose to do?

MIT will accept two maths and a science.

Berkeley will not take the IC (same for all UC's); Stanford, which does not actually require SAT II's but "recommends" them, will take any but also recommends the IIC rather than the IC. Northwestern and Duke do not require, but recommend II's, and take any but recommend IIC for any engineering, science and math. Princeton, Harvard, MIT, and Cornell require SAT II's, will take either the IC or IIC but will not count both as meeting the required number of SAT II's. The required II's need to be in different subject matters and thus submitting both maths will count as only one test toward the requirement. Note, the MIT requirement is one science, one math (either the IC or IIC), and one in another subject (different science or something other than math). Also note that Cornell and Berkeley require only two SAT II's so if you have the math IIC and physics, you don't need any more for those.
