I'm applying to Duke, and was wondering whether they would accept Math IIc and Math IC as two subject tests out of the required three, or would I have to sit Literature or French or whatever else I choose to do?

i dont see a problem with it but you might want to call them and just make sure that its ok. Also, it would prob be to your advantage if you took a different subject and scored well, just to show them that you have breadth of knowledge

I called last year to ask this question and they said fine. The maths are what I submitted, with the New SAT and was accepted early. Hope this helps

I would say take the I C, but take those other two you mentioned as well. Although I'm sure it won't kill you, it probably looks better to send three different subjects than two send two maths

Your SAT IIs should be in line with your overall SAT, so if you hit 1500, you want the IIs to be in that range. If the other IIs you mentioned will fall below 750 and your Math will stay at 750 or higher, do what you KNOW you will succeed at. Take the practice REALs and see how you do. No need to add a bad lower score and introduce a negative into your application.
(Same thing is you are 1400 scorer, take the testS that will average you out at 700. )

yeah, haha scribbler's gotttt it.
SAT2s should reflect your knowledge of that subject, so take ones that you are really confident about. good luck!
