Hi. I am planing to study finance but i havent taken maths in alevels. Will it be possible to get admission and study the required subjects of maths in the university itself. ( as maths is deemed necessary for finance) or do i have to take a one year gap?
And any suggetions about good undergraduate colleges in us, uk, australia and india to choose among for studying finance?
If you’re planning to study finance for bachelors level in the US, then you don’t need math from A-levels. You can basically start from the fundamentals (Calculus I, or even Pre-Calc in some cases) in your first semester, as you wouldn’t be taking higher level classes in any area until later in your college career. By the time you are taking classes that require some math, you’d already have had time to complete those math requirements in college itself. So, don’t worry about the math requirement.
