mattress pad

I recently made a comprehensive list of items I'll need for my dorm. I got most of the items from the A to Z list here on college confidential. One of the items were a mattress pad and I was wondering if it is recommended for the extra long twin beds at UF.

Where’s that list?? :)

The list-

I’m an incoming freshman, so I can’t speak for the beds there yet, but I have a bed pad on my bed at home, and I really like it.

bed pads are nice in general. i would especially recommend them for the dorm beds. you don’t necessarily need an extra long one, but if you don’t already have one you might as well get the long one.

i got a memory foam one that I will use (:
people have told me that it’s really great to have something!

Well I just got back from orientation and from my own personal experience of sleeping on a bed in Jennings, I’d recommend a mattress pad. The beds are a bit firm for my standards.

Mattress pad is most important stuff in dorm, especially if you are “long term student” like me :)

Last one I got from here: [Best Mattress Pad deals online in Bedding department - How to Shop Smart](http://howdotodo.com/category:mattress-pad) it is about $100 and it is some model called “invacare egg something mattress” (or something similar). Saved my life since I got problems with my back, maybe will help to finish collage too :)
