mattress?

hey is anyone getting their own mattress? i have back probs (nothing severe) but i was considering getting one coz i heard some ppl did... what do u think?

I heard a futon is a really good investment. However, I'm not sure if that'd work with someone with back problems.

wow, talk about having a lot to pack. if you're allowed to do it, go ahead. but i remember reading something to the effect that the school wont store any furnishings you feel you don't need, so i'm not sure what you would do with the mattress provided. and you would have to give it back at the end of the year.

If you get your own mattress, you'll have to find somewhere to store the one that comes with your room.

ooh, back problems...I never even considering getting my own mattress, that might have been a good idea.

Back problems aren't fun!

uh... you can put the new mattress on top of the old one...your bed would be higher up, but it would feel no different.

that's a good idea. i mean the only downside i see is if, for some "unexplainable" reason common is most college students, you can't physically make the extra foot up to your bed sometimes late at night...or early in the morning.
