Maui Fever

I wanted to shoot myself for the entire 30 minutes.

These kids make the people of Maui look like cheap sluts. It's appaling.

This is NOTHING what living on Maui is about.

The show is filmed in the richest part of the island where none of the "locals" hang out.

I know that Chante girl and she is a HUGE slut. I wouldn't touch her with a 10 foot pole. But I guess she is better than all the other mainland-imported rich kids.

I'm starting to feel sorry for the real kids of Laguna Beach...I just hope this show falls apart.

It's way too "set up". You know? The plots are TOO perfect...with drama and relationships. Like the guy who just wants to sleep with tourist girls...and then one of those girls decides to move to Maui to be with him. That is way too unrealistic.

These people are OBVIOUSLY not CC material.

haha CC material.....nahh not even close

I saw the commercial and it looked really lame. The girls weren't even hot. Laguna Beach girls are way better.

^^Haha, and for this reason alone, millions of teenage boys will not be watching the show.

Yeah, that show is so horrible. Laguna Beach is way better. The only problem with Laguna Beach is this season was horrible. The best season was two.

...People actually watch that show?

I know little about this show, but I dislike their usage of the town of Kaanapali, for this is not a large town, and the show is most likely not an accurate portrayal of those who live there.

Yeah, I hate when TV shows project false images of people.

Luckily, Chicago doesn't have too many stereotypes or misconceptions about its people.

Also, Factory Girl (Edie Sedgwick's biopic coming out soon) is full of crap about her life and will probably send a whole generation of girls into thinking "OH EM GODSHSHS edie is teh coolz".

False media is yucky!

I live in Hawaii as well (Oahu) and I have to agree. They decide to choose Maui but instead of having anything to do with Hawaii they choose to have every character be a white tourist that thinks that they have such dramatic lives. Hawaii is one of the most ethnic diverse places in the US and there entire cast is white? You gotta be kidding me.
