Does anyone know anything about this residence? I am living in Germany now and would like to keep up German and obtain fluency. Have already been admitted for fall.

I don’t know about the German House, but I do know that the Residential College has an intensive German language program. They have German lunch and coffees during the week in addition to classes. Students who have passed language proficiency may take courses in German Readings and Deutsch Theater. My D is in this program and absolutely loves it.

I thought housing told me you had to be in the german concentration in order to live in Max Kade, but I could be wrong.

"Max Kade German Residence Program

The Max Kade German Residence Program is tentatively scheduled to be located in the new North Quadrangle Residential and Academic Complex on Central Campus beginning with the fall 2010 term. The program, which is currently housed in the Baits II complex on North Campus, is open to German-speaking sophomores, juniors and seniors. "
