Hey guys. do you know the max number of problems you can MISS and still get a 700. Not raw score. I think i missed 7......

I missed 7 on march and got 700, and 7 in january and got 710.

in december i omitted 2 and got 6 wrong for a 700, which is the same as getting 7 wrong...

yikes i hope i didnt miss more than 7

well, on may i heard you can miss 10 and get a 680 so hopefully we have a great curve.

junglebum, i'm facing the same thing. 7 wrong so far and hoping those were the only ones i got wrong. i want a 700 cr at least :(

haha yeah. cuz a 700 looks so much better than a 690. i know i've missed about 4 so far. and i left none blank. i just don't know about the fill in blank question whether it is pristine/deter or inaccessible/thwart. i put the latter so if i miss that one that will be 5 wrong....

May 5th SAT, I ommited 4 and got 3 wrong for a 700.

Does this mean that the May SAT curve was really bad? Or is this average? Should I have gotten higher?

i think that sounds right. i just hope the curve for the june one is generous. like -8 questions is a 700 crosses fingers

In January, I Missed 8 and got a 700. Raw Score: 57

Do you have to get a perfect raw score to get an 800, or can you make one mistake?

i think you can miss 1

It's usually -2 for an 800 on CR. At least that was the curve on the March 2007 SAT... Check previous SAT curve posts -- folks usually put one together after each administration.

on the same test, i got one wrong on cr for an 800 and one wrong on math for a 790...clearly, the curve fluctuates

thats a pretty nice math curve. i missed 1 on the march test and got a 780

Yeah, there is no tolerance for errors on the math section. Miss one and the 800 is gone. For writing in March, 49 (no errors) and a 9 essay will get you an 800, as will two errors and a 12 essay. Two errors and an omit on CR was a 780.

what do u guys think a 10 on the essay and missing 5 will be? as opposed to missing 5 and getting an 11?

bump........
