I'm currently a junior with a 3.53 cumulative (after junior year, can't see second semester junior year grades changing) trend by year, 3.2-3.53-3.87. 1410/2110

I'm interested in economics at CAS, probably going to apply ED next year.

Would a schedule focused on what I want to major in help my chances? Classes I'm thinking of are AP Macro/Micro, AP Calc, AP Stat

Maybe I'm just looking too deep into it, but NYU is my dream school, great location and reputable program in what i'm interested in.

you are looking a little to deep into it.

1410/2110 is already above average, couple that with ED and you’ll definitely get in. (i wish i had a 1410 =/ )
you should definitely take as many APs as you can though.

good luck =D

I am a junior too, so I am in the same situation as you (low GPA). But I think applying ED would definitely help…I saw the stats of some kid who had a lower GPA than us but still got into CAS economics ED. And definitely take the classes you are thinking about, I think it will help.

Help me out?
