Hi there,

Does anyone have any information as to the maximum course load allowable per semester at the following colleges ? (Please kindly state the maximum before the adviser raises the bar and after the adviser raises the bar):

1) UT Austin
2) UNC Chapel Hill
3) UVa
4) UMich
5) UCLA
6) SUNY-Buffalo
7) University of Arizona

Thanks!

Not sure about those, but just wanted to add that not all of those are on the semester schedule. I know UCLA is on the quarter schedule. So the max # courses won’t always be equal. (On the quarter system, 4 courses is normal, whereas 4-5 is more normal for the semester system.) Also, it’s often not the # courses that’s restricted, but the # units. You can easily find this on the colleges’ sites.
