<p>for those colleges in the States, I just wondering is there any limit for the maximum course one can take per semester?</p>
<p>For example, in Canada, one can only take 5 course per term, even if you feel compatable to take six or seven courses, the school just not allow u to do so, it sucks sometime.</p>
<p>Depends on individual school policy. At my school, max is 18 hours, about six courses, unless you have special permission and a certain GPA, and then it’s 21 hours, seven courses. However, you pay extra per hour for anything over 18.</p>
