<p>I just scoured over the LSA web page looking for the maximum number of credit hours per semester at Michigan. It's probably like 17 or 18, but I figured I'd ask the enlightened members of CC to inform me. Thanks.</p>

<p>18 isn't much. I've taken 18 both of my semesters here and am scheduled for 18 next semester. If you're paying out-of-state tuition you want to get your money's worth. I'd recommend taking 14-15 credits of challenging courses but then just throwing a fun blow-off course on top. That's what I do and it works really well. It's baiscally a 15-credit load but you learn a little bit more and get more credit for it.</p>
