Maximum Transferable Units to UC

I'm a CCC student, planning to apply ucb and all other UC campus in a College L&S major.
I already have 65 transferable units and have already completed IGETC. However, I still have about 4 classes to take for my major prerequisites.

My questions is what is the maximum units I can take in CCC without getting disqualify for admission? (People have been telling me different things. From Askms.sun forum, she stated there are no maximum units for one to take in CCC, but only 70 units can be apply directly to my degree. From Berkeley website, they stated that you cannot take more than 80 units. One counselor told me not to take more than 80 units.)

My second question is that if what ms.sun said is true the 70 units that can be apply directly to my degree, then will Berkeley only take the classes that are in my major requirement? For example, I took Jap 1 but i didn't really need it, so that class will not be chosen within the 70 units right?

Last question, how is my GPA gonna be counted? Just say if I have 80 transferable units, and my GPA is 3.80. Then the gpa in my application should be counted as 3.8 right?

Thank you for sharing knowledge here. Much appreciated.
