-5 raw score should be an 800... The curve rarely changes a lot I heard, even if the test is pretty easy.

ummm...i'm pretty sure the f(g(x)) one (with the sin x and cos x) was sqrt(1-x^2)...

what was the one of probability with -1<x<1 and -1<y<1

Oh, and 42+ for an 800 is pretty low, isn't it? I thought that you could only omit 6. My friend omitted 6 missed 1 and got a 790. 44+ = 800 probably?

This is the only test I feel good about! I failed Chem and Physics, though.

In January I got 770 (6/7 wrong, 0 omit) and this time I hope I can get an 800 (2 omit, 1-2 wrong)

No, the f(g(x)) with sin and cos was pi/2 - x. Plug it into your calculator... that's what I did. I think there's also a thorem that proves that.

With the probability of -1<x<1 and that... I got 1/2. Want an explanation?

I think we're talking about a different problem, birk44. The sqrt wasn't an answer choice for that problem.

Wait, was it?? My memory is foggy...

was 1/2 choice D, if you remember lol

Heh... no, it was A. :-P Sorry.

lol alright, i think i just filled in a random one

was 10y-7.5x-35>0 was right?

yes, that's right.

I got that too. x^2+2x^2+4=(x+2)^2+a(x+2)+b What was the answer? Anyone know FOR SURE?

ok good i changed it last minute lol

a = -2 is the right answer for that.

and #44 or something with tanx, was it -0.577?

I'm almost positive it's -2. Plug in -2 and the simplify and you'll see that all the x's cancel... that's a good sign.

juventus, you're right again.

alright thats good

I think I got positive... but maybe not. either positive or negative 0.577.
