Can someone who received an email copy and paste the body of it here, please?

I called them and some woman registered me for the event, but I haven't received an email and don't know the details.

I'm pretty sure that there are two events that day: the AAP thing and then the other, general transfer thing. To be clear, I'm looking for information about the latter.

I’m confused about this as well. Some people have received e-mails, some actually received calls. I have received nothing. So far, I have had nothing but drama with UCLA. I am getting incredibly discouraged even though it was my dream to be admitted.

On behalf of UCLA students, staff, and faculty, we are pleased that you are considering UCLA. We want to invite you to a special event to be held on your behalf.

The department of Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools welcomes you to an admissions reception. We would like to introduce you to all of our campus resources and programs. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to network with key individuals who will be helpful in your success as a student at UCLA.

Saturday, May 16 (1:15 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.)
Please join us for lunch at noon at the Intramural Field
Program starts at 1:15 P.M. at Ackerman Union - 2nd Floor Lounge

At the reception you will meet representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, Housing, Honors, CCCP, Academic Advancement Program, Student Organizations (i.e., STOMP), faculty, and staff. We encourage you to take advantage of the many exciting opportunities and resources that UCLA offers.

Space is limited for this reception, so don’t wait to make your reservation. Due to limited space we ask that you bring only one (1) guest to the reception.

We look forward to meeting you and sharing with you why UCLA is the best choice for your education and your future! If you have any questions about our Transfer Admit Reception, please contact us by email at welcome@saonet.ucla.edu or call (310) 206-8118.

Nah, I don’t want to drive an hour each way for an hour and 45 minute event.

Wow Tiberius, 7 phone calls? I have received exactly 0. They don’t love me… oh well. Maybe it’s because they know I love them so much, they don’t have to do anything in return. I’m like the stupid girl who stays with her as$hole boyfriend even though he treats her like ****. I know UCLA loves me even though it doesn’t show it, and beats me when it gets drunk…

I’m not going…didn’t even get the invitation although I was admitted. WTH?
Besides, I’ve been there many times already…haha even a few weeks ago for LA Times Festival of Books!
