May 1st is only a few days away, important decision!

Majoring in finance/accounting and possibly minoring in economics.

BU - $42,000
University of Maryland - $32,000 also got into the College Park Scholars Program
University of Illinois Urbana Champaign - $42,000
Northeastern - $32,000

I would go with U Maryland. But, where do you live? Are you in-state for Maryland or Illinois?

I would go to Northeastern, based on the price and the co-ops opportunity.

how’s the aid?

I live in MA so UMass is my state school. The above money amount has taken aid into account.

Oh wow, good universities to select from… I find it somewhat hard myself to distinguish between them.

If you really are looking for the city campus, etc… I would look more into Boston University. If your looking for the college life you may have always though of than University of Illinios- Champaign would be the pick (I think I would pick this university of the 4).

thanx Coolbrezze, i do love the city campus and the city life as well as BU. but the cost is higher than the other schools. in this type of financial disaster we r in, i don’t really want to put too much pressure on my parents. they have three kids to deal with :/

Then base off what’s stated above, if not willing to take out a loan for both of the universities ( BU, UI-C) then I would consider University of Maryland- College Park. I’m not a fan of their campus buildings etc… though you still have the offer of a campus, sports, college experience, and city life ( it’s within Washington D.C metro).
