guess that was my first post, did anyone get the math question that said what is the probability of getting a number that is divisible by 5

i got 700 -- how bout the rest of ya

yea 700 kibitzer

on this SAT test if i did not answer 2 math questions and got 2 wrong what would my math score be?

i got 2000 as the compensation Q answer, but if the answer asked for compensation than i'm wrong, because 2000 is the # of sales, not compensation...crap i just realized that too

what about one of the 1st gridins, and it was like 1/x + 2/x = 2

i felt like it was incredibly easy but i was just having a brain fart or something

i think i just put in 1, even though it clearly wasnt right

---ANYONE?

damn it, its really annoying when you secondguess yourself in math questions just because all the prep books say that collegeboard is trying to trick you

ahh i know that happened to me SO MANY TIMES!!!!

getting 1 grid in wrong drops me to a what? and the probability of it being divisible by 5 was 4/9 i think

700 is right...

diamond, i got 5/9 for that i believe

If on a march scale...probably around 730 (for grad '06)

yea that answer wasnt one...i think tiw as 1.5

it took me so long too!!! i got so ****ed at myself but it was experimental so who cares

yea 700 is right, im kicking myself right now for misreading that..damn...

anyways, yea, for the divisible by 5 the answer was 5/9

tvnut, i did the same thing you did and put 2000

greymatter are u talking about me?

wasnt it 5/9?

no.. TVnut, you're right.. it was 2000.. 700 was the sales.. and u had to plug that back in the equation to get 2000

Heh tvnut, thats probably one of the only useful things I picked up from prepbooks, to read what they ask for. Don't worry, you'll never make that mistake again.

if i got 2 wrong and 2 left blank what would my ending score be on the math section?

pepgirly me too i was like wildly entering in numbers and nothing worked! wait were sure that was experimental though? (please please i hope so!)

Nope, it was 700. I am positive. 2000 was the sales, because when I put it into my ti189 it solved for x (sales) and got 2000. Then I made sure to plug in 2000 to get the compensation.

Grad '06, i already tried to answer your question, scroll up.
