MAY 2005 TEST – FORM TWO(math experimental)

so is the answer 4/9 or 5/9?

oh, good point mjnets, it is in fact probability, so it doesn't cancel it out.

its 5/9 it asks for the PROBABILITY

haah this thread is so unorganized and confusing

for examples for the WRITING part, the essay, about work:
for examples of why you need work for a strcutured/fulfilling life i used a)women working in factories during WWII while their husbands were fighting abroad
b)the book "one flew over the cuckoo's nest" and how the patients were lethargic and lifeless because they had no jobs to keep themselves occupied/structured
in the intro i cited a 3rd example (my personal experience with a summer job kept me from getting lazy/worthless last summer), but i didnit talk about it in the body of the paper b/c i didnt have time. is this bad??

wait wasnt the little triangle one 62.5, 36 was for the rectangle

wait.. no maybe ur right..

but i think that was in the experimental section, no?

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet ... i can't member which one i got though hehe .. was it 4 / 9 -- or was it 5 / 9 ? --bah ??

For the last time 2000 = sales ; which leads to correct answer of 700 !@!@

seriously, just look at my last post, i forget the wording, the wording will dictate whether it is 4/9 or 5/9

filmxoxo, no, 2000 was the sales, the profit was 700

does anybody know what math score ill get if i get 7 wrong total

youre right, my bad, it is 62.5 for the bunch of little triangles. 36 for the rectangle. it was 6 hours again, everything is getting all blurred :)

hmm, i got 1 grid in wrong and 1 multiple choice wrong.(so far) i wonder what that will make my score for math

we'll see. :) no need to raise your online voices

7 wrong on a march scale is around 670

haha ahhhhhh you guys, now im so confused im wondering whether i put 4/9 or 5/9 on the answer sheet!

also i did say 62.5 for the tiny triangles, i think, and 36 sounds familiar?

36 is for a rectangle question I believe. Youre corrent with your 62.5, or at least that is what I put.

I'm a failure in math SAT ... bah

mnjet, yea ithink u are right, it is 5/9(which i got orignially, so im happy even though i was wrong)

i got 62.5 for the triangles and 36 for the cube thingy

anyone remember the question(i think it was #16 on the 1st section)

what is g(X) in terms of f(x)...i put f(x)+1 i think

what was the rectangular-can you describe it

yea, f(x) + 1 since it was a vertical shift up 1

DIAMONDT~ i think mid-low 600ish? unless some of the ones you got wrong were on the experimental
