i left all of those blank.. the hotel one.. the river one.. and the polygon/paper one... ****

wallyjo, i screwed up in math also.....but at least i think i did pretty well on reading and writing so hopefully the next time ill take the SAT ill focus on math but try not to bomb the rest of the sections

what was the polygon answer guys

hmm, what section was the 5/9 probability on. i actually think i did better on the experimental than the regular

nine sides

SWEET --> I got 9 sides, as well ... jajajajaja

the 5/9 prob section wasnt experimental

what did u guys put for the reason for the woman reporter not to have the brown paper bag put in front of her eyes?

teasing about her fiance

in the polygon question - you know that the part they give you is 360 degrees and they give you two of the angles and the other two are the interior angles of the polygon-you then subtract the two given angles from 360 then divide that answer by 2- then you know that 140 is the interior angle measure for that polygons and only a nine sided polygon has 140 degree angles

for math, did anybody get the question ( it was the last of one of the sections) that had a number line and X between 0 and 1. and the question asked which applies,

I lxl<1
II lx-2l >1
III lxl + lx-1l =1

something like that?

im out to get some dinner...peace

no krzy, i didnt have that

what does a math raw score of 52 come out to be?

on a march scale, around a 750-760

i got a raw score of 53 in march and got 790, is it possible to get a 770 or 780?

did you really? I thought it was harsher than that. I know 6 wrong was a 690.

But yea, its definetly possibly, may has better curves on average.

I'll bring this up again. There was a MC that had sort of a sinusoid looking function and said said when f(x)=0 for how many values are possible or something. I put 1 rushing through, but it may have been 4. What do others think?

march has the worst curve because this is when most of the prep companies send out their employees to take the SATs (most of them score 800), and also becuase the studens who take it are usually the ones who cant take it in may bc of APs, so they generally score high. people take it the most in may, more people = more bad people to help out the curve. :)

whatd you get for your total score kibitzer?

i didnt take the sats in march but for the PSATs i got one writing Q wrong nad still got an 800, and a 2140 total i think (650 math, 690 verbal)
i think it was on a different scale then? anybody know?

too bad that im going to do worse on SATs than i did on PSATs...is this abnormal? cuz i had a tutor.....

also i got the same answer for the bag question (she was tired of ppl making fun of joe) and i got 9 for the polygon.

whatd you guys use for examples in your writing essay?
