i wish the scores came out the second we finished the test so we wouldnt have to wait in suspense for 2 entire WEEKS

your are definitely right about the mean question with the 7, 8.5, and 10. I think I may have put all 3 without trying to make sure 8.5 came out evenly. I hope I picked up on that, but I can't remember.

Seriously, I cant wait! I want my scores... I want to know if the experimental was Section 3, Im hoping for 750+ (I left 3 blank in that section). If not, urgghhhhh... Ill probably retake it in June.

Just checked collegeboard.com - section 3 (math-2nd grid-in) was the experimental. Does anyone remember any questions in that section?

I remember there was one where a paper was covering a polygon and it asked you how many sides it had...

I had the grid-in experimental though, you could've had MC.

No. I'm pretty sure my experimental was my 2nd grid-in -- had 2 grid-in sections.

for the mean question, i am pretty sure it said real numbers, meaning 8.5 would work.

kib, it did say real numbers. However 8.5 doesnt work because it doesnt come out into the arrangment. Let me explain:

the problem said that the 7 numbers were between 2 and 20 inclusive. However im pretty sure that the numbers within the 2-20 range were integer values only. So 8.5 couldnt have come out as a mean answer

Unless are u saying that the arrangment could have been

2, 3, 3, 6, 10, 15.5, 20 and that divided by 7 = 8.5?? Hmmmmmm

It said real numbers! 8.5 works! I had all the definitions of different types of numbers in my calculator and used them for that problem, which I spent a long time on. Therefore I know that I did not misread it. The answer was I, II, and III.

where do you go on collegeboard.com to find out which section was experimental??

On the collegeboard homepage click "SAT" under "College Board Tests." Look to the left of the screen and click "After the Test."

bump for everyone who just got scores. I got 720 math which is sort of odd since I must have missed 3 or 4. With the March curve it would have been 710 for 4 wrong, or 740 for 3 wrong with one grid in wrong. Either I got lucky, or unlucky, I'm not sure.

I knew it. It was a very very nice curve for the math as it was very hard. I got an 800 and I know for a fact I got the sales one wrong. So -1 is 800 for all of you trying to figure out the curve.

and thrills4ever, I'm pretty sure it was I, II, and III, but I don't remember the question anymore. The reason is I said it was I, II, and III and I know I missed the 2000 sales one because I didn't plug it back in to get 700. I got an 800. So I couldn't have missed 2 and gotten an 800 still I don't think.

I don't know how generous the curve is because I've only tracked down 2 wrong answers on my math section and I got a 730 Then again, maybe I got a REALLY easy one wrong or I might have messed up on the grid-in bubble like what happened when I took the March one (found out through qanda service that I filled in /8 instead of 5/8). Oh well, I know I can get an 800 and will talk it over with several people to see if I should retake it.
